In 1997 has acted on faculty of journalism of Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov.
Worked as the correspondent in a weekly journal «Arguments and the facts» in a department of culture since 1996 till 2002.
In 2002 has acted  in «the Academic school of design» on a rate "The Designer of interiors". There has got acquainted with the teacher on the academic figure Gudkov Alexander Sergeevich. Within the next two years took from him lessons.
As the designer of an interior has made two objects - apartments: one of 180 meters square, another of 220 meters square sustained in style of minimalism with ethnic decorative elements.
Since 2002 is engaged in a photo.
In September, 2006 the exhibition of photos of the sky and clouds on Dzen-festival of the MAHKA-UPAYA-PATI was organized
In 2004 has heard a rate of lectures on modern American art in ГРРУ on faculty of a history of arts. After the heard lectures, has become interested in abstract art and now works in this style.
Since June, 2006 cooperates with Gallery A3.
September, 29 at an annual exhibition the MIME in Gallery A3 Elena Starkovoj's composition was submitted.
